Check the vanity to be sure it is not attached to the wall. If it is, use a screwdriver to remove the securing screws.
Place a level on the top of the vanity unit. Check the vanity for level from side to side and front to back.
Place wooden shims under the vanity unit in the areas that are too low. Tap them under with a small hammer only enough to bring the unit level. Do this from side to side and front to back. Cut away any excess shim material that sticks out from under the cabinet, using a utility knife.
