How to Register Amana Products

Once you purchase your new Amana product, you should register it with the Amana company. Registering the product helps to ensure you get timely information on your unit should there be safety recalls or other information you might need. Registration also helps when it is necessary for repairs that the warranty covers. The registration provides proof of ownership as well as the purchase date. Registering Amana products is a simple process once you have the necessary information.

Step 1

Find the model number of the Amana appliance that you intend to register.  The model number is on the inside of the door on washers, dryers, refrigerators and dishwashers. Look behind the storage drawer or front frame for stoves and ovens.  Write the number down on a piece of paper.

Step 2

Write down the serial number of your product.  The serial number is usually next to or below the model number of your product.

Step 3

Visit the Amana website and hover your mouse over “Customer Service” Click on the “Product Registration” in the drop-down box.

Step 4

Fill in your personal information and your product information within the supplied areas on the screen.  Click the red “Register” button on the lower-left corner of the screen. The product is now registered with Amana.

Step 5

Call Amana customer service at 1-866-616-2664, if you prefer to register over the phone.  Let the operator know you want to register your product and she will transfer you to the next representative. The representative will ask for the same information as you would fill out in the online form.
