Janome Memory Craft 200 E

The Janome Memory Craft 200E (MC200E) is an embroidery-only machine that comes with 73 built-in embroidery designs and 3 fonts; however, your options are limitless as you can connect this machine to your computer via its USB port and download your own designs and fonts directly to your machine with the press of a button. The MC200E embroiders at a rate of 650 stitches per minute and has the option to resize your project with a button-push sizing feature. You can also rotate your designs up to 45 degrees with the touch of a button. This machine comes with several embroidery CDs and has a built-in digitizer, allowing you to convert and picture to a format that can be quickly embroidered. Additionally, this machine comes with two hoops. This machine has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $499 as of December 2010.

The Singer CE-350 Futura

The Singer CE 350 Futura is a combination sewing/embroidery machine that comes with 100 built-in stitches and a variety of built-in fonts. You can download your own designs quickly through the USB cable with a computer running Windows 2000, ME & XP. This machine is not Mac-compatible. Designs can be downloaded directly to your machine without any complicated formatting, making the transfer of designs quick and easy. This machine comes with two hoops, has six one-step buttonholes, and comes with several accessory presser feet. Additionally, it comes with a dedicated embroidery presser foot and an embroidery software CD. This machine has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $999 as of December 2010.
