How to Kill Silverfish With Bleach
Silverfish are small, silver-colored insects that usually like to dwell in damp places. They can be found almost anywhere in your home and are frustrating when they infest your tub right before you're ready to take a nice, long bath.
In some instances, a silverfish infestation may mean that you have a leak in your home. Luckily, silverfish are easy to get rid of. Although there are a variety of ways to exterminate them, you can kill silverfish with bleach.
Things You Will Need
- Bleach
- Water
- Spray bottle

Mix two parts water with one part bleach in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe your walls with the bleach and hot water mixture every three months until you notice that the silverfish have dissipated.

Pour a bleach and hot water mixture down your drains every day to kill the silverfish inside of your pipes. Sometimes silverfish infest your home by crawling up the drain pipes.

Spray bleach in areas where silverfish commonly thrive such as cracks in the walls or floor, damp, dark areas underneath and around sinks and in bath tubs.
