The following steps will show you how to use contact cleaner to clean these various surfaces.
Things You Will Need
- Gloves
- Goggles
- Contact cleaner spray
- Lint-free cloth
Warning
Keep this product off plastic surfaces. The product will ruin any plastic it comes into contact with. Contact cleaner is extremely flammable and should not be stored or used near fire, sparks or heated surfaces. Avoid getting this product onto the skin or in the eyes.

Put on gloves and protective eyewear such as goggles before spraying the product. Ventilate the area well to avoid breathing in too much of the vapor from the spray can.

Shake the contact cleaner spray can well.

Turn off all electric equipment or machinery before spraying.

Test a small area that is inconspicuous before spraying the whole area to make sure the cleaner is compatible with the surface you are cleaning.

Hold the can at least 6 to 8 inches from the surface you are spraying and keep the can upright during use.

Allow the product to dry and then wipe it with a lint-free cloth or brush it clean.
