How to Install a Bosch Dishwasher Mounting Bracket

Kenneth Crawford

Installing a Bosch dishwasher depends on what type of countertop you have over your cabinets. Formica and wood-based countertops use a bracket at the top of the dishwasher, while stone and marble countertops require a mounting bracket on the side of the dishwasher to attach to the side of a wooden cabinet.

Bosch provides mounting brackets to fit either situation. Installing a Bosch dishwasher mounting bracket might require some modification to the bracket if you have stone or marble countertops.

Tip

Insert a screw through the single hole of the bracket and into the countertop or side of the cabinet once you mount the Bosch dishwasher and level the unit.

  1. Position the mounting brackets over the top front corner of the Bosch dishwasher, if mounting to a wood or Formica countertop. The line of holes on the bracket should point away from the dishwasher.

  2. Align the tabs on the bracket with the two slots on the top of the dishwasher. Push the brackets into the slots until the bracket locks into place.

  3. Bend the single hole portion of the bracket toward the two small tabs on the bracket to form an angle, using two pairs of pliers, if mounting to a marble or stone countertop. Use one pair of pliers to hold the bracket along the line of small holes, and the other pair of pliers to bend the single hole portion of the bracket.

  4. Align the brackets on top of the dishwasher, with the single hole of the bracket pointing to the side of the cabinet. Push the bracket tabs into the slots on the top of the dishwasher until the brackets lock into place.
