Unplug the air cooler from the wall socket.

Open the air cooler and remove the air filter and the water basin.

Fill a sink full of warm water and 1 tsp. dish soap. Place the water basin in the water and scrub it until clean. Rinse the water basin with clean water. Dry the basin with a towel.

Rinse the air filter off with clean water to remove any dust or debris. Allow the air filter to air dry completely.

Wipe down the exterior of the air cooler with a damp cloth. Place the water basin and air filter back into the cooler.
