Lay the viscose material item flat, exposing the stain so it is easier to access.

Blot fresh oil stains with paper towels. Scrape away solidified oil and grease with a plastic spoon.

Cover the entire stain with baby powder and leave it overnight.

Hold the viscose material item over the trash and brush away the baby powder with your hands.

Rub a grease-fighting liquid dish soap into the stain with a sponge and leave it to sit for 15 minutes.

Launder the viscose material item in warm water. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for specific care instructions for your particular item.

Remove the viscose material item from the washer and look to see if the stain is gone. If it isn’t, treat it with soap again and rewash.
