Be certain the tile is clean. Measure the point of entry using a measuring tape. Mark the spot using a wax pencil.

Hold the drill as steady as posible. Monitor the speed of the drill as you work.

Increase the speed as the hole begins to form. Do not put too much pressure against the tile, as it might break it.

Allow the drill bit to do the cutting. Once through the surface, pull the drill bit out. The drill should still be running as you remove it.

Clean around the area and sand edges for a smooth finish.
