Create a paste using baking soda and vinegar in equal parts, and coat the silverware with it. Allow the paste to sit on the silverware for at least five minutes before rinsing it off under warm running water and using a soft, clean, dry cloth to buff until it's shiny.
Line a shallow dish with aluminum foil. Place the silverware in the dish and sprinkle two tbsp. of baking soda over it. Add 2 qt. of hot water, and allow it to soak until all of the bubbles are gone and the water is cool. Rinse the silverware under running warm water and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
Rub the silverware with white toothpaste and a soft, clean cloth to remove tarnish. Rinse the silverware under warm running water and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
Apply lemon juice to a soft, clean cloth and polish thoroughly. Wipe the silverware clean with a separate dry, clean cloth.
Soak the silverware in sour milk for 30 minutes. Rinse the silverware with warm water and buff it with a soft, dry, clean cloth until it shines.
