How to Clean With Distilled White Vinegar

Distilled white vinegar is a natural disinfectant that can be used to sanitize floors and surfaces as well as clean other appliances. It is more cost-effective and safer than store-bought cleaners because it doesn't contain harsh chemicals. Lessen the sour smell of vinegar by diluting it in water and adding fresh lemon juice.

All-Purpose Cleaner

Sanitize kitchen counters and floors with distilled white vinegar.

Fill a spray bottle halfway with water.

Fill the rest of the bottle with distilled white vinegar.

Add 2 tbsp. of lemon juice to the mixture.

Spray down floors and surfaces with the cleaner.

Wipe up the solution with a damp sponge.

Cleaner for Chrome Fixtures

Pour 2 tbsp. of salt into a small bowl.

Add 1 tsp. of distilled white vinegar.

Stir them together to form a paste.

Dip a cloth into the mixture and spread it over your chrome fixtures. Wipe off the mixture with a damp cloth or sponge.

Garbage Disposal Cleaner

Pour distilled white vinegar into an ice cube tray.

Place the tray in the freezer and wait for it to freeze.

Break out the cubes and pour them down the sink.

Turn on the faucet and run your disposal.
