For proper operation and efficiency, clean your Air-O-Swiss humidifier every two weeks or when the cleaning indicator light turns on.

Things You Will Need

  • EZCal cleaner
  • Container
  • Spoon
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Soft cloth
  1. Turn off and unplug the Air-O-Swiss humidifier.

  2. Lift the water tank off of the base and turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it.

  3. Pour out any water left in the tank and rinse it thoroughly with warm running water. Empty the water tank after rinsing.

  4. Mix 1 packet of EZCal cleaner with 4 cups of hot water in a container. Stir the solution with a spoon until the powder is dissolved.

  5. Pour the solution into the base unit and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Don't plug in or turn on the base while it's soaking.

  6. Pour the solution out of the base. Clean the membrane located on the base unit with the soft-bristled brush included with the humidifier. Rinse the base thoroughly with cool water and shake out any excess.

  7. Dry the tank and base unit thoroughly with a soft cloth.

  8. Fill the tank with water and screw on the lid. Set the tank into place on top of the base unit. Plug in the humidifier.

  9. Reset the cleaning indicator light by holding down the "On/Off" button until the "Clean" indicator light disappears.

The Drip Cap

  • For proper operation and efficiency, clean your Air-O-Swiss humidifier every two weeks or when the cleaning indicator light turns on.
  • Pour out any water left in the tank and rinse it thoroughly with warm running water.
