How to Polish Your Badges
If your profession requires that you wear a badge, eventually the badge will begin to lose its luster. Preserving the look of your badge is easy enough, although a duller badge could be considered a symbol of your time spent on the job. However, if you prefer to keep a shiny looking badge, clean and polish it regularly using a mild soap and a special cleaning solution.
-
Wash your badges with a mild soap and water. Rinse well.
-
Dry your badge using a clean, soft cloth.
-
Use a cleaning solution like those jewelers use to polish rings and other jewelry if additional cleaning and polishing is required.

Tips
- Refrain from scrubbing your badges with abrasive polishes and cleaners, detergents and solvents as these will damage the surface of your badges.
