How to Install Shower Liners With Shower Curtains
Shower curtains are available in a variety of colors, designs and fabrics, and they are used mainly to enhance the appearance of a bathroom. They cannot prevent the floor from getting wet and must be paired with shower liners. Shower liners are made of plastic and can effectively contain the water in the shower.
Things You Will Need
- Shower curtain
- Shower curtain liner
- Curtain rings
They also protect shower curtains from the constant barrage of water, which could eventually ruin the fabric. Installing a shower curtain and liner is a straightforward process.
-
Spread the shower curtain wrong-side up on a flat surface.
-
Spread the plastic liner over the shower curtain. Align the holes on the plastic liner with the holes on the shower curtain.
-
Attach the curtain rings. Open one of the rings and slide it into a hole on the shower curtain and into a corresponding hole on the liner. Repeat this process for the remaining holes. If you are using decorative curtain hooks, insert the hooks from the right side of the shower curtain so that the decorative portion remains on the right side of the curtain.
-
Place each hook on the shower curtain rod to install the shower curtain and liner ensemble. The shower liner should face the inside of the bathtub or shower.
