How to Clean Oil From a Glass Door

However, you can remove the oil from your glass door with some simple but effective household cleaning materials.

1. Mix up a cleaning solution consisting of two cups of warm water and a few drops of grease-fighting dish detergent.



2. Dip a paper towel into the detergent mixture, and rub the soapy mix vigorously into the oily or greasy portions of the glass door. Concentrate on the oily sections of glass, for now, to avoid spreading oil to other parts of the glass surface. Repeat until the glass appears clean.



3. Fill a spray bottle with equal parts water and white vinegar.



4. Spray the vinegar mixture onto the oil-affected area of the door, then wipe it off with a paper towel. Continue until the glass appears clear and free of oil and grease.



5. Mist the entire glass portion of the door with the vinegar solution, then use a clean paper towel to wipe the surface dry and clean.
