How to Clean Baked-on Grease on a Stainless Stove Top
Baked-on grease accumulates from time to time on your stove top. If you make a mess while preparing meals, and if you allow the grease to cook on instead if wiping it up immediately, it becomes even more of an issue.

Things You Will Need
- White vinegar
- Paper towels
- Nylon scrubbing pad
- Cleaning rag
Instead of scraping to remove the grease, use a common kitchen item that dissolves the grease with little work required on your part.
-
Soak paper towels in white vinegar and place over the baked-on grease. The vinegar naturally loosens the grease from the stainless stove top. Let the paper towels sit for about 10 minutes.
-
Scrub over the area with the same paper towels to remove the grease. If needed, soak a nylon scrubbing pad in white vinegar and scrub over the grease buildup. Continue until all grease is removed.
-
Wipe the area with a clean, damp rag and follow up with a dry cleaning rag.
