How to Remove the Drawers From a Frigidaire Pedestal
Frigidaire front-loading washers and dryers have an optional pedestal attachment available for purchase. The pedestal has a drawer for storing laundry items, such as detergent and dryer sheets, and slides into the front of the pedestal.
Removing the drawer from the pedestal is trickier than using it since there are interior screws that hold it in place. The screws keep the drawer from falling out when you open it, but it also means you have to remove the screws to take out the drawer.
-
Open your Frigidaire pedestal drawer as far as it will go.
-
Reach your hands into the front right corner and the front left corner to feel for the screws.
-
Use a Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screws then pull them out of the drawer.
-
Pull the drawer out of the pedestal.
