You can quickly and easily mix your own power washing solution that will do all those things at a fraction of the cost of a commercial product.
Things You Will Need
-
Pour 1 gallon of hot water into a bucket. Add the baking soda, a little at a time, stirring well with a long-handled spoon following each addition, until all baking soda has dissolved. Pour in 1 quart of household bleach and stir well. Add the dish detergent. Stir the mixture slowly and gently to avoid making suds but blend thoroughly.
-
Fill your machine’s tank with the power washing solution. Apply it generously to sections about 12 feet square, 1 at a time, and let it set for 5 to 10 minutes.
-
Use clean water to pressure wash the solution from the cleaned area. Rinse well so that no residue remains on the surface.
