How to Clean a Weil Mclain Boiler
Reliable heat is a must in the biting cold winters of the northern United States. Weil Mclain boilers provide heat to homes in many places and need little maintenance to function properly. Periodic cleaning keeps your boiler working effectively so it won’t fail in the middle of the winter.
A HVAC specialist and not you should perform more detailed maintenance.
Turn off the Weil Mclain boiler and turn off the gas line to the boiler, if needed. Allow the boiler to cool all the way.
Wipe down the exterior of the boiler with a damp cloth to remove any dust.
Vacuum around the boiler to keep dust and lint from clogging the system.
Vacuum inside the boiler vent discharge and air intake vents on a weekly basis to keep them free of dust and lint.
