Cal Spas breaks down problems into a few groups: system, heat, water, water pressure, air and jets, light and pump problems. Prior to looking in your unit or making any decisions, you should carefully diagnose the problem to ensure you are focusing on the correct issue.
Common problems include heating, water clarity and water pressure in the jets. Heat problems can occur when the mode is incorrect, water is too low or the filtration process is not set correctly.
Water clarity often requires a test on the spa chemicals and filter. Water pressure means checking the jets, filter and gate valves.
Major problems are often outside of the homeowner's ability to correct. For example, you may need to contact an electrician to check the spa's wiring.
The manufacturer or dealer may help you if the spa controls, heater, pump or motor is inoperable.
