How to Put a Thomas the Train Toddler Bed Together

Cameron Easey

Thomas the Train is a character from book “Thomas the Tank Engine” by the Rev. W. Awdry. He is one of the main characters in the television show "Thomas and Friends" that airs on PBS. Merchandise themed for Thomas the Train includes a toddler bed for young children. If you have a Thomas the Train bed, it will need to be assembled prior to use.

Step 1

Place the pieces for the bed on the floor. You will have 10 main pieces with two sizes of screws and a cover for each screw.

Step 2

Attach the side sections with the wheels to the front section of the train. Insert two smaller screws into a screw cover. Insert a screw into the screw hole near the bottom on the inside of the front section. Use the Phillips-head screwdriver to tighten the screws.

Step 3

Attach the panels for the cab to the rear of the side sections. Insert the smaller screws into screw covers and then place them into the screw holes. Tighten the screws to secure the panels.

Step 4

Set the rear of the train bed in place and tap on the pieces until you hear them snap into place. Place the top of the cab on the panels. Attach the top of the cab with screws and screw caps, again using the smaller screws.

Step 5

Place the face of the train on the front piece and secure it with the longer screws and screw covers. Set the front piece in place. Secure with four smaller screws and screw covers on the front face and a longer screw and screw cap on the back face.

Step 6

Attach the lid to the storage container at the front of the bed. Apply the stickers to the face of the train.
