Step 1

Vacuum the floors with a soft brush attachment or sweep with a broom to remove loose dirt and debris. Do this every few days to prevent grit from scratching the floor.

Step 2

Clean laminate floors with a damp mop and a laminate floor cleaner. Apply the cleaner to the mop to wash the floor. Wipe the floor with a dry cloth or mop to remove any moisture. Clean wood Tarkett floors in the same manner but with a wood floor cleaner.

Step 3

Clean FiberFloor and vinyl Tarkett floors with a mop and a mixture of mild dish detergent and warm water. Use a moderate squirt of dish detergent with a gallon of warm water. After mopping the floor with the detergent and water, rinse with clean water.

Tips

Tarkett also offers its own line of cleaning products for use with each specific type of Tarkett flooring. These products are available where Tarkett flooring is sold, as well as through various online retailers.
