Chefmate Hb-215 Instructions

Learning to use the Chefmate HB-215 breadmaker is important if you plan on using the machine on a regular basis. The HB-215 allows owners to bake their own bread and avoid paying the inflated prices of bread from a supermarket or local bakery. While learning to use this machine might sound like a difficult task, it is simple with the proper instructions.

Step 1

Open the lid of the machine and remove the bread case by holding both sides of the handle and turning it in a counterclockwise manner. Position the kneading blade so it is above the drive shaft of the machine.

Step 2

Place the ingredients into the bread case in the following order: water, flour, sugar, salt, butter and dry skim milk. Once those are added, place the yeast in the middle of the mixture. (The amount of ingredients used will vary depending on the type and size of the loaf of bread being baked). Place the bread case into the base of the machine and turn it clockwise to lock it in place.

Step 3

Close the lid and plug the power cord into a nearby outlet. Set the standard mode (either normal, 1 pound or dark depending on what you are baking) and press the "Start" button.

Step 4

Remove the bread case from the base of the machine when the timer goes off and the bread is done baking. Use the handles and oven mitts when removing the bread case from the machine. Allow the bread approximately 30 minutes to cool, then remove the bread from the bread case. To remove the bread from the bread case, use a knife to loosen the edges of the bread from the case and then gently lift the loaf from the mold. Place a spatula underneath the loaf to lift it out of place.
