How to Clean a Frigidaire Stove

Cleaning a Frigidaire stove is quite easy as they are all self-cleaning.
When a Frigidaire stove is set to self-cleaning, the inside of the stove will heat up (some up to 900 degrees), cooking any spills and baked-on food or grease. The cooked-on spills will turn to ash during the cleaning cycle. You must still clean the stove top of a self-cleaning oven by hand. Wiping away spills and removing cooked-on food will keep your Frigidaire stove working its best.

Step 1

Press the "Clean" button on your Frigidaire stove. The location of the "Clean" button will vary by model, but should be close to the time and settings panel.

Step 2

Let the Frigidaire stove cycle through the cleaning process and cool completely.

Step 3

Wipe the inside of the stove down with a damp wash cloth. You may see an off-white substance on the inside of your Frigidaire stove after cleaning. This is ash.

Step 4

Mix 1 part vinegar to 1 part water into your squirt bottle.

Step 5

Squirt the vinegar mixture over the Frigidaire stove top and wipe away with a clean wash cloth. Wipe down the door and knobs in the same manner.
