How to Clean a Frigidaire Stove
Cleaning a Frigidaire stove is quite easy as they are all self-cleaning. When a Frigidaire stove is set to self-cleaning, the inside of the stove will heat up (some up to 900 degrees), cooking any spills and baked-on food or grease. The cooked-on spills will turn to ash during the cleaning cycle. You must still clean the stove top of a self-cleaning oven by hand. Wiping away spills and removing cooked-on food will keep your Frigidaire stove working its best.
Press the "Clean" button on your Frigidaire stove. The location of the "Clean" button will vary by model, but should be close to the time and settings panel.
Let the Frigidaire stove cycle through the cleaning process and cool completely.
Wipe the inside of the stove down with a damp wash cloth. You may see an off-white substance on the inside of your Frigidaire stove after cleaning. This is ash.
Mix 1 part vinegar to 1 part water into your squirt bottle.
Squirt the vinegar mixture over the Frigidaire stove top and wipe away with a clean wash cloth. Wipe down the door and knobs in the same manner.
