Fill the base of the fryer with 2 quarts of high quality cooking oil. Place the lid back on the fryer. You can choose corn, soybean, peanut or canola oil for frying.
Plug the cord into the appliance and into an electrical outlet. The oil will automatically begin to heat.
Set the temperature on the front of the machine to the desired temperature for frying. A green light will illuminate when this temperature is achieved.
Fill the basket with the food to be deep-fried. Do not overfill the basket, as this will keep food from cooking and browning properly.
Submerge the basket into the hot oil. Place the lid back on the appliance.
Check the food after the recommended amount of frying time. Use long-handled tongs to separate foods, if needed.
Remove the basket from the fryer and dump the food on paper towels to drain.
