  1. Clean the Insinkerator Badger 333 disposer if odors come from the sink opening. Put the stopper in the opening and fill the sink halfway with warm water. Mix one-quarter cup of baking soda in the water. Turn the disposer on and release the stopper. The baking soda mixture will flush and clean the disposer.

  2. Follow the same procedure with special disposer cleaner that's available from hardware stores if the baking soda solution fails to eliminate the odors. Follow the directions on the packaging for quantities and product-specific directions.

  3. Free the motor if the Insinkerator jams and won't work. Turn the water and disposer off. Insert one end of the wrenchette into the center hole on the bottom of the disposer. Turn the wrenchette until you can make a full turn. You may have to work it back and forth.

  4. Insert tongs into the disposer and remove the object that jammed the disposer.

  5. Wait a few minutes for the Insinkerator Badger 333 disposer to cool down and press the red button next to the center hole that you worked with the wrenchette.
