How to Take Apart a Bosch Tassimo
You can take apart your Bosch Tassimo in just a few minutes for ease of cleaning, transport or storage.
The Bosch Tassimo is a small kitchen appliance that makes tea, coffee and espresso-based drinks using Tassimo "discs" and an "intelligent" brewer with a bar code system. The Tassimo includes many removable parts, including a water tank, adaptor holder and drip tray. It's advisable to take your Tassimo apart before putting it in storage or shipping it to a new location, or before cleaning it. It's a very simple process that should only take a few minutes.
Storing Your Tassimo
You may want to take your Tassimo apart to avoid damage during transit or storage.

Cleaning Your Tassimo
If your Tassimo sits out on a countertop, it may get grimy. Cleaning it regularly will optimize its performance. Tassimo recommends inserting the reusable cleaning disc into the appliance once a week, or daily if using milk or chocolate in your drinks.
-
Remove and disassemble the filter cup, filter cup holder, adapter holder, adapter and drawer. Remove the drip tray cover and drip tray.
-
Clean all removable parts with hot water. All removable parts, except the water container, are dishwasher safe. Rinse all parts with fresh water after cleaning before reassembling.
-
Clean the outer surface of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Tip
You don’t need to take apart your Tassimo before descaling it, as this involves cycling water and vinegar through the machine. Refer to the cleaning and care directions for your particular Tassimo model, as different models contain different parts. If your Tassimo isn't working as it should, you may need to take out some of its removable parts to investigate. For example, if water is dripping from the appliance, the filter cup may be clogged. Remove the cup and rinse it under tap water to unclog the screen. If all removable parts appear to be in the correct place, contact Tassimo customer service at 1-877-TDISCS1 (1-877-834-7271) for advice.
Warning
Always unplug your Tassimo before cleaning it. Never place the cord, plug or appliance in water or any other liquid.
