How to Season a Calphalon Pan
While there are benefits to seasoning cast iron cookware, you should not season your Calphalon pan. Seasoning Calphalon pans causes foods to stick and will make cleaning your pans harder in the future. Simply follow the steps below before you first use your Calphalon pans.
Things You Will Need
- Liquid dish washing detergent
- Nonabrasive sponge
- Soft cloth

Fill your sink with warm water. As the sink is filing, add liquid dish washing detergent.

Wash your pan using a nonabrasive sponge.

Dry with a clean soft cloth.

Do not wash your Calphalon cookware in the dishwasher.
