How to Get Marker Off a Child's Face

Things You Will Need

• Cotton balls
• Washcloth
• Rubbing alcohol
• Face cleansing cream

A stronger product will be needed to break down the chemicals in the marker and leave the skin marker free.

Rubbing Alcohol

1. Soak a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and wring it out, so it’s not dripping wet.

2. Wipe the wet cotton ball over the marker stains. Be careful not to get too close to the child's eyes.

3. Repeat, using new cotton balls and rubbing alcohol until all the marker is off the child’s face.

Face Cleansing Cream

1. Wet a washcloth and wring out, until it’s lightly damp.

2. Dip the washcloth into the cleansing cream, until you have a good dollop on the washcloth. Rub the cream into the washcloth to produce a bit of lather.

3. Rub the cleansing cream into the marker stains. Rinse the washcloth and apply new cream, as it gets stained with the marker.

4. Rinse the washcloth clean and wipe the cream off the child’s face. Re-apply the cream as needed, until the marker is gone.
