How to Troubleshoot a Beeping F7 on a Magic Chef Oven

Step 1

Push the “Off/Cancel” button to clear the code from the display. This should clear the code, but it might not stop the beeping.

Step 2

Disconnect the power cord from the outlet for 60 seconds to stop the beeping and reset the appliance. Reconnect the power cord.

Step 3

Press each button on the keypad to determine if a button is stuck, if the oven continues to beep and display F7.

Step 4

Push “Off/Cancel” again to try to stop the beeping. If it stops, the cause of the problem was a stuck button.

Step 5

Contact Sears or an appliance repair shop if the beeping will not stop. The cause is likely an internal component that may need to be replaced.
