Look for a white label, which includes the name and address of the manufacturer, type of grill (gas or charcoal), model and serial number, inspection approvals, and other identifying information. The label is usually located in one of three places: the back of the front panel, the back of the back brace or the inside of the back panel.
-
Look for the model number. On the label, the model number will be a series of numbers and/or letters.
-
Write down the model number exactly as it appears on the label. You may also want to note the serial number and manufacturer's information for future reference.
