How to Shorten Wash Time on a Whirlpool Duet Washer
When you program your Whirlpool Duet washing machine, the machine calculates the time it takes to finish the wash cycle and displays it on the LCD screen. You may want to cut down the amount of time it takes to finish the wash cycle. Besides the benefit of extra time, you will save money on both the electricity and water bills. By adjusting some of the settings on the Whirlpool Duet washing machine, you can shorten the wash time for your load of laundry.
-
Turn the cycle control knob to "Normal/Casual." Any of the other cycles lengthen the washer time.
-
Press the "Less" button over the "Soil Setting" option. The display time will decrease each time you press the "Less" button.
-
Start the washer by pressing and holding the "Hold to Start" button. The wash cycle will start and run for the time shown in the display.
