  1. Test the dishwasher's electrical outlet with a lamp; the outlet isn't receiving electricity if the bulb doesn't light. Check the power switch for the dishwasher, if fitted, within the electrical outlet or on the wall behind your kitchen counter.

  2. Replace any blown fuses or tripped breakers in your home if the outlet is switched on but not supplying electricity. You might notice other appliances on the same circuit stop working when a fuse blows or a breaker trips.

  3. Hit the "On/Off" button on the dishwasher's control panel. Many Bosch dishwashers can be turned off via the power button without switching off the electrical outlet.

  4. Unlock the dishwasher's control panel. Some Bosch dishwashers come with a child lock that prevents kids from starting the dishwasher by accident. Cancel the lock by downing the "Lock" or padlock icon button for a few seconds.
