How to Remove an Empty Bottle From a Swiffer WetJet
The Swiffer Wet Jet is a handy tool to have to clean flooring. Its ease of use, efficiency at removing dirt and dust and its relatively inexpensive cost make cleaning easier. The traditional mop and bucket is replaced by the Swiffer Wet Jet cleaning system, which includes Swiffer Wet Jet cleaners.
The cleaners are easily removed from the pole, making replacement of cleaners easy and quick.
Things You Will Need
- Swiffer Wet Jet Cleaner
- Swiffer Wet Jet Cleaner Solution
Warning
Do not remove or puncture the cap on the bottle of Swiffer Wet Jet Cleaning solution.

Grasp the cleaner bottle with one hand.

With the other hand, press down on the lavender release button located on the pole at the top of the inverted cleaner bottle. The bottle will be released from the Swiffer Wet Jet.

Lift the empty cleaning solution bottle and discard.

Replace the cleaner with the variety of your choice: antibacterial, multipurpose or wood floor cleaner. Do not remove or puncture the cap on the bottle. Insert the Swiffer Wet Jet Cleaning solution in the direction indicated by the arrow on the bottle. Push until secure.
