The Sunbeam window fan has two fans instead of just one, to provide additional cooling. Oscillating action means the fans rotate from side to side to evenly distribute the cool air into the room and can be changed in speed from low to high. The fans can also be reversed to expel air from inside the room as well as bring in cooler air from outside.
The unit has an LED display to allow users to easily control the functions of the window fan, including the power, main setting and fan speed. In addition, the control panel allows users to set the fans to "Intake" for bringing in cooler air and "Exhaust" to expel air from inside.
The built-in thermostat has pre-set levels of 60, 65, 70, 75 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit to allow users to select the desired temperature for the window fan during use. Note that the doors and windows inside the room or home should be kept closed to help maintain the most accurate temperature and to prevent cold air from escaping.
The Sunbeam window fan includes an air filter to help clean the air that is drawn into the room. The filter should be cleaned on a regular basis in order to help keep the fan running well and to help improve overall air quality. Always disconnect and turn off the fan before removing the filter from the unit to clean it. Clean it with warm, soapy water and rinse well before placing it in a cool place to air dry. Do not use the window fan while the air filter is removed.
