How to Get Rid of Mildew Smell in Washer

You might take it for granted that because your washing machine cleans clothes, it should clean itself.

Step 3

Select the hottest water temperature setting available. Some machines have a sanitizing setting. If available, choose the sanitizing setting.

Step 4

Run the washing machine through the complete washing cycle.
