How to Change the Oven Light in a Whirlpool Range 465 Super Capacity Oven

  1. Turn off the power to the oven by turning off the breaker on the circuit from which the oven receives its power. Ensure that the oven is completely cool before servicing the appliance.

  2. Unscrew the glass covering the light bulb, which is located in the back left of the oven. Set the glass aside.

  3. Unscrew the old light bulb, then screw the new light bulb into the light socket until it is tight.

  4. Replace the glass by screwing it back onto the threads.

  5. Restore power to the oven, then test the new light bulb by opening the oven door, at which point the light will illuminate.
